The multimedia installation BUNGA - This is recent! in the permanent exhibition of the South Asia Department of the GRASSI MUSEUM FÜR VÖLKERKUNDE ZU LEIPZIG pointed out to the visitor that this Bhunga, an Indian round house made of clay, is not 100 years old, but was built in 2005 together with people from Gujarat/India at GRASSI. BUNGA - This is recent! deconstructs the spatial scenography tradition/modernity as well as the curatorial hierarchy curator/source community.
