“With INTERVENTION M 21 we stand for a change in museum practice that views the museum as inclusive, democratic, and open and seeks to counter institutional power relations.
Anthropological, ethnographic, and natural history museums have always reinforced the racist colonial order and, accordingly, spread one-sided misleading narratives about the colonization of the Americas and its consequences. We wanted to address all of this. We want to present counter-narratives to show the perspective of the global South through our voices.” www.decolonizem21.info
